DEVELOPER GUIDE

From an idea to a request.

Use each model’s native protocol and your own application key.

1. Choose a model

Find the model ID, protocol, limits, and price in the live catalog. Optional features vary by model.

Browse models →

2. Create an API key

Keep application keys in your server environment. The Playground uses your signed-in session.

Manage keys →

3. Make a native request

Chat Completions uses /v1/chat/completions; Messages uses /v1/messages; Responses uses /v1/responses. Model availability comes from the catalog.

Use the Playground’s native request editor to inspect payloads for the selected model. Tool calls are returned for your application to execute.

4. Inspect settlement

Save X-Request-Id from the response. Your request history shows the reported usage, amount, and settlement state. Price and balance values are denominated in microUSD; one dollar is 1,000,000 microUSD.
